Been Busy lately :(

Man, I've been so busy lately, I dun even have time to play WoW, anyway I juz got myself a 2.5" Hitachi HDD + a 2.5" Smart Drive External Casing and it comes with a leather pouch to hold the casing as well, pretty neat huh? I've been working on a website project and some audio editing lately but I should be free by next week.

Check it out, Ajaxwrite, I dun have time to have an indepth look but its pretty much like MS Word, with limited fonts, I tried loading a doc with tables but it failed not sure y, I'll try to figure it out later.

Super Colossal Review

Very straightforward instrumental rock album. Catchy riffs and some great solo as usual. This album gives me more of a live feel to it than any of Satch's album, almost as if its a Live in XXX album!!!

Redshift Riders/Ten Words/Theme For a Strange World has some really catchy riffs, man its awesome!

Crowd Chant is probably a great tune to play live, as suggested by Satch himself. Can't wait for his concert in Singapore, its gonna freaking rock!!!!!

Underworld : Evolution

I watched the move Underworld 2 yesterday. Very nice show, although I like Underworld better. UW2 is kinda darker and of course more gore. I did not really dig the show too much, I dun know, as I get older, I enjoy action movies with some sort of theme behind it, the whole good VS evil is kinda boring for me. Recent action movie that I enjoyed would be something like Fearless, there is a theme behind the story. There is some sort of moral value behind the movie which I think is nice :)

Dream Theater 05/06 Asian Tour review

woot, my ears are still ringing from last nite's concert.....buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

hehehe Juz joking...The concert started late by an hour...sign rumor has it that there were some PA problems and shit....by its all well cuz sitting rite infront of me is this pretty sweet lookin Japanese chick, u know the kind face damn sweet when she smiles kind....

Anyway back to the topic, for the concert we had fans from Oz, Indonesia, Malaysia. So its all really good.

Personally I felt that the concert wasn't long enough, since a DT concert usually clocks in at 3 1/3 hours to 4 hours but it was only 3 hours for Singapore :(

We didn't have a big medley. but anyway here is the setlist for the nite:

We were missing great tunes like, Take the Time, Another day, Hollow Years, Stream of Consciousness, Anna Lee, Glass Prison, Ytse Jam, Erotomania...... For fans like me who had waited over 14 years for their first concert in Singapore, 3 hours juz wasn't enough, we needed more............

Overall, I think everyone had a great time headbanging to the tunes and shit. Towards the end of the concert, I think that the was some problems if the PA or sound system or something....James was like "I can't fucking hear something something something" and JP/MP said something back which we couldn't hear :(
But they was was a small thing really and I think that it didn't really affect the moods of the fans.

The playing was pretty much perfect and MP was juz going insane, I could fuckin feel my body/cloths vibrating whenever he hit the bass drum, JP as usual is fucking great some great playing and great solos, I was like wow........ juz amazing :)

I can't wait for the next DT concert maybe they can start it earlier and we can have a longer concert, kinda like Japan where they start the concert earlier :)

Gibson Les Paul '06

was checking out some of the new LPs from NAMM.

As usual, Gibson is tryin to get into the Metal market mainly dominated by ESP and Ibanez. They had a couple of series targeted at the hard rockers/Metal players for the last couple of years, like the Gothic and Voodoo series.

This year they are bringin out the Menace series. 1st thing to catch my eye is the 1960 slim taper neck. Usually 60's neck is featured on the Classic and recently LP Standard series. So this is a nice change.

Among the other guitars we have the Goddess series as well, a lighter version of the LP, for hot chicks :p

And we have the GT and Vixen series as well.

I've always wanted a big ass huge effects board and shit like that....but some how lately I think kinda like Zakk Wylde, Slash and Co.

A Les Paul, good cables , a booster and a good amp :) and once in a while a Crybaby.

So I was invloved in 1 of the greatest WSG ever........

So there was this lvl 30 - 39 WSG going on. We pretty much did not have any plan and I got yelled at by a noobish leader...

A leet lvl 33 hunter tryin to be a hero and trying very hard to cap a flag cuz he has a leet +30% to speed. He rushes into battle w/o waiting for his healer (thats me) and expects to be alive???

Or he rushes into battle when I'm dead....and he started yelling at me....I was like wtf!!!
He dun even tell people what he is gonna do, he juz rushes the Alliance....The Silent Leader.

It was a pretty gay pug group....god how I h8 pugs.

EJ Concert Review

Ok as promised here is the review of the concert

First of all I wasn't expecting anything too hip and happening from EJ cuz EJ is not known to rock the house down (when you are comparing to other guitarist like Vai and stuff like that) but however the tone....OMG it is godly.

Although you can c from EJ's face that he is pretty tire and this is the last leg of the tour, he did made some mistakes but however, I can understand that, after travelin to so many countries, he is probaby burned out but however, it is still a great show. Some great improv by a guitar great, trademark 1000 pound violin tone is there, clean is excellent although slighty trebly but its probably required since if you ain't got treble its not gonna stand out and you probably can't hear shit....

Overall I give this show a 8 outta 10

EJ Concert

OMFG, Which part of "NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY" did the audiences dun understand?

Almost every tune, the event staff gotta come over to tell people no flash photography....its so FUCKIN annoying......

There is 1 dude even more fuckin power. Setup a tripod, took out a viewcam and wanted to record the concert, WTF....you own NCC or something??? The event staff gotta come and bug him like every tune and I was like 2 sits next to the guy..... towards the end of the concert they even confiscated his tape....."I had a chat(well not really chat lah juz via the forums) he seems to be a nice guy lah didn't do it on purpose" but it is really annoying.....

Ok as you can c my temper not so good now.....so I'll do the review 2morrow....

I'm really upset with Sunday's MC raid, not only was there a lack of people, the leaders leadin were well, not exactly very good.

What kind of Leader would send a msg to you tellin u to cut back on DPS cuz the tank will lose aggro?

I mean WTF a tank is suppose to HOLD AGGRO so we can do insance DPS not the other way round.....

I was really upset when I got that tell and when I got a 2nd tell askin all casters to melee instead of castin spells, I was so upset that I left the raid........

I've been playin Swiftkill(Warlock) since beta and than on Lightbringer after the game went retailed. After almost 1 year I've decided that its time for me to make some comments about the class in general.

First of all, I've played with some of the best players on Lightbringer, for example Ladyluck, Ceras(Rogue) Zhul, Creenie(Druid), Pcn, Kanisha, Starrynyte(Priest), Rhoda, Knitehammer (Pally), Time, Tiara, Angelkiller, Blossom(Warlock), Tilda, Ravenfury, Shikku(Warrior). Most likely non of you will even know who the hell they are cuz most of them have stopped playing or moved to a PvP server. Btw, I've been commented by some of the peeps on Lightbringer as one of the best Warlock as well as being the 2nd Warlock to reach 60, the 1st? Tiara, my mentor and good friend.

To this end, I belive that I've enough knowledge and experience as a good Warlock to make comments on this class.

What is wrong with the Warlock class? Plenty....

First of all, we dun have a defensive skill we are the only class who needs to invest talents in order to have a semi half fuck Curse of Exhastion. Invest 5 pts and you can slow someone by 30%, wow great what use is that when Warriors can charge and Rogues can sprint? Its the same as not investin in it........

Well, I'm tired rite now and will continue 2morrow....
