Busy Busy Busy

Man I've been busy for like the past 2 weeks....loads of work + recording so there is like a lack of updates here buy anyway...Dream Theater's brand new LIVE album is gonna hit the streets soon and Malmsteen is gonna be performing in Singapore for a 2nd time again....so rock on Singapore!!!

1st Recordin

Well...it didn't go smoothly as expected but nor was it a failure....they changed the connection of the studio and I didn't know so I had to do Immediate remedy on the spot and a couple of times I was caught off guard...probably the biggest thing buggin me was the fact that the was no sound comming out from the left speaker....I think there is something wrong with the speaker or something. But on well at least I got the stuff recorded.

But I did make 1 major mistake...too much spillage from the Overheads...grr... I decided to set the OH lower cuz I didn't wan to mike up the toms and it ended up pickin up the snare as well.... oh well more experience from me.....

Liverpool

Sorry Chelsea fans....Liverpool has triumped yet once again...I wonder who Jose Mourinho is gonna blame again? poor refereeing? Well Done Lads!!!! Liverpool for life!!!

National Day

This is like a weird period for me...maybe its because of Slayer(Satan Laughs As You Eternally Rot) \m/ Gotta listen to some mellow stuff b4 I go check them out...anyway according to sources, seems like Slayer will be coming to Singapore but however it is still possible that it might get cancelled so hang on for a few more days while everything gets confirmed. Music Police?

I hate being a music police and all especially being a musician myself...I know how hard it is to get a chance to gig...record an album and stuff...but sometimes when I listen to a album I think to myself man how could some1 even release a record like this wrong notes? k fine its a very minor thingy and most probably won't even notice it but still....

Some of my friends tell me...dude you listen to Dream Theater too much...they're like a class of their own and not many people will be able to match them...shiftin time signature....shiftin key....shifting tempo...and no I'm not saying that you gotta be playing all those to be a good band...bands like simple straight in your face hard rock /metal can be very entertaining too...the band gotta be tight and shit
